Bodman Volunteers Fold Radiothon Incentive Ponchos
* Bodman volunteers with radiothon incentive poncho
Last Tuesday, March 19, volunteers from Bodman came to The Salvation Army’s Divisional Headquarters to help fold rain ponchos, the incentive item at the 37thn Annual Bed & Bed Club® Radiothon.
During the radiothon, donors who gave $240 or more received the limited-edition Bed & Bread Club Radiothon rain poncho as a thank you. Donors who gave $255 or more received an extra rain poncho that could be donated to a Bed & Bread Club client.
Bodman employees also volunteered at the radiothon, answering calls in the phone bank, and greeting attendees as they came in. With their help and other volunteers, the event raised $ 1,637,238 to help combat hunger & homelessness in Metro Detroit.
Bodman is a law firm founded in 1929 by former Ford Motor Company legal staff, Wallace R. Middleton and Clifford B. Longley and former Packard Motor Car Company general counsel Henry E. Bodman.
They are committed to giving back to the community by supporting organizations that focus on human services, education and culturally diverse areas of need.
If you were inspired by these generous volunteers and would like to follow their example, there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer or donate to The Salvation Army.
