Coats for Kids 2022 A Great Success, Thanks to Our Community Partners and Donors
Detroit hip-hop radio station FM 97.9 WJLB raised $4,325 and 102 coats during its 40th annual Coats for Kids Radiothon on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Nonstop in Warren. Funds raised during the 12-hour Radiothon will also help provide winter accessories for metro Detroit children in need.
* North End Bandits Bike Club present their donation check
We were honored to receive a $1,300 donation from North End Bandits Bike Club. This is the Bandits’ 6th year involved in the Radiothon.
* Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity
Detroit Barbie donated $1,000 and 70 coats, and 365 Entertainment donated 7 coats. We are also thankful for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity who volunteered at the event. With help from our community partners, we will be able to keep hundreds of additional families warm this winter!
