Donate toys at GLOW Holiday Festival in St. Paul Dec. 3–5
You can experience the bright colors of Christmas and the joy of giving to The Salvation Army all in one place – the GLOW Holiday Festival at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul.
Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted at GLOW beginning Friday, Dec. 3 until Sunday, Dec. 5. Donated toys will be distributed to families the week before Christmas at Salvation Army Toy Shops around the Twin Cities. The Salvation Army needs toys for about 21,000 local children this Christmas season (read story).
Another giving opportunity: $1 of every ticket sold for the show on Friday, Dec. 3 will be donated to The Salvation Army when you use code SARMY as part of “Salvation Army Day at GLOW.” These donations will support Salvation Army Booth Brown House, a St. Paul housing facility for teenagers and young adults experiencing homelessness.
If you can’t make it to GLOW but would still like to help, you can donate toys at KSTP “Stuff the Sleigh” drop-off sites throughout the Twin Cities or give a financial gift.
GLOW Holiday Festival is a must-see winter attraction that features a mile-long drive with over a million lights, an ice palace, illuminated trees, a State Fair food court, Sky Glider rides, and more. Learn more about GLOW or buy tickets.
You can do something good this holiday season by donating to The Salvation Army, volunteering, or ringing bells at a Red Kettle. Your help will provide food, shelter and care for local families in need. Because of you, Hope Marches On.
