Duluth Salvation Army taps Cyndi Frick as Director of Development
The Salvation Army welcomes Cyndi Frick as our new Director of Development in Duluth, Minn.
Frick brings energy and a passion for helping others to her new role, with a diverse professional history and an eclectic skillset. She most recently served as Director of Life Enrichment at Edgewood assisted living facility in Hermantown. She also co-founded a skincare company, PH Simply by PARIS HONORÉ, and for 14 years she owned and operated a marketing and graphic design company called FrickNGraphix.
Frick loves to volunteer and give back. For nearly four years she has served as President of the Hermantown Parent Teacher Organization. She also founded a baking charity called Just BAKEcause.
Originally from Osceola, Wisc., Frick attended the University of Northwestern in St. Paul for two years and the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities for four years, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree and many appearances on the Dean’s List.
Frick is excited to begin her new role at the Duluth Salvation Army.
“I really enjoy helping others and making people smile,” Frick said. “You can get so much more back from helping others than you could ever give. Becoming a part of The Salvation Army organization will enable me to help so many more people than I could on my own.”
In her spare time, Frick enjoys photography, baking, cooking, watching bingeworthy shows, entertaining, writing, hiking, volunteering, and spending time with her two sons. She loves to fish and she loves her daily morning run, when she organizes her thoughts and plans out her day.
Frick replaces Dan Williamson, who returned to his career roots in journalism.
“We are excited to have Cyndi on our team,” said Captain Bryan Ellison, Duluth Salvation Army administrator. “Her proven experience and professionalism will enhance our ability to do the most good in Duluth and surrounding communities.”
Please join The Salvation Army by giving a donation or signing up to volunteer. Your help will provide food, shelter and care for people and families in desperate need.
