Help Keep the Homeless Warm this Winter: Donate to Hoodies for Hope
You might associate The Salvation Army’s Winter Night Watch mobile feeding program with hot meals on cold nights, but did you know that when our food trucks hit the icy roads in December, January and February, our volunteers also hand out warm winter outerwear to those in need?
You can help stock our trucks with plenty of warm clothes this winter by donating to the Hoodies for Hope campaign. Join us as we partner with 100.7 KGBI from now through October 10 to collect new hoodies for distribution to those experiencing homelessness this winter.
To participate, just drop off (or ship) new hooded sweatshirts by October 10 at one the following locations:
KGBI’s studios -- 11717 Burt St. #212, Omaha 68154
The Salvation Army Western Divisional Headquarters -- 10755 Burt St., Omaha 68114
All donated items will be delivered by our trucks and volunteers directly to those most in need here in the metro.
If it’s still a bit too warm out for you to think about winter clothes, consider making a donation online to support our Winter Night Watch program.
