How We #LoveBeyond Shelter
Inflation is hitting people’s budgets hard this year. Amid the highest levels of inflation America’s seen in decades, rents are on the rise around the country—and that means more people in need coming to The Salvation Army for assistance.
Here in Omaha, our local housing programs are stepping up and responding to this ongoing crisis. In the last year alone:
- 158 individuals/families were provided transitional housing and more through our Renaissance Housing program
- 41 individuals/families moved into permanent, secure housing through two of our main long-term housing programs
- 59 veterans enrolled in our VA Housing Opportunity and VA Community Assistance Support Services programs
- 47 low-income adults found a comfortable, safe place to reside thanks to our Durham Booth Manor apartments in midtown
Your support will ensure that these critically important community programs stay strong going forward. Help us Love Beyond Shelter.
