OMAHA SALVATION ARMY PERSONNEL LEADING MISSION TRIP TO BRAZIL
Salvation Army Kroc Center Omaha officials are leading a team of ten Salvation Army representatives from around the Midwest on a mission trip to Brazil.
An advance group of five team members flew down to Porto Alegre, Brazil on Sunday (January 7) for the special trip, with the balance of the team set to depart at midweek.
The team will be helping to lead a music camp in Porto Alegre and will also be working on a project at Salvation Army’s Santa Maria Corps in Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul Division. About 100 Porto Alegre-area students are set to attend the camp, in which Salvation Army personnel will provide them with lessons in vocal music, instrumental music, dance, and more.
The team comprises several of Kroc Center Omaha’s top leaders, as well as representatives of Western Divisional Headquarters and multiple Western Division Corps. They’re all set to return stateside on January 20.
Please join us in praying for the mission-trip team members as they engage in this unique service opportunity with their Salvation Army colleagues in the Southern Hemisphere.
