Pat Milliken Ford Donates Vehicle Sales Up To $50,000 Throughout December
Pat Milliken Ford is generously donating a portion of every new and used vehicle sold to The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit’s Red Kettle Christmas Campaign, up to $50,000 during December.
The auto dealership is also collecting donations via a virtual red kettle, encouraging employees, customers and community members to join in on the giving efforts and donate what they can. Funds raised will support 13 corps community centers across metro Detroit, which provide food, shelter and financial support for those who need it most.
“At Pat Milliken Ford, we believe in service – not only to our customers, but to our community,” said Brian Godfrey, president of Pat Milliken Ford.
“My grandfather was a huge supporter of The Salvation Army, and my family is proud to carry on his legacy today. We’re blessed to be in a position where we can help lift up our neighbors in need.”
Pat Milliken Ford has been a longtime supporter of The Salvation Army’s Bed & Bread Club program, but this is the dealership’s first year connecting with the nonprofit’s Red Kettle Christmas Campaign.
“The Christmas season is a time of hope, and that’s just what Pat Milliken Ford is providing,” said Major Bob Mueller, metro Detroit area commander for The Salvation Army Great Lakes Division.
“The Salvation Army is so thankful for the generosity of our corporate partners. This time of year is critical to helping us serve our neighbors in need – not just during Christmas, but all year long.”
