The Weekly Word - A Devotion for the Week of July 26
How often do we look at what God has given us – our “land,” so to speak – and wish for something else…something bigger, better, fancier or more valuable? How easily we forget that wherever we step foot, it’s upon the land God has given us. We might fool ourselves into thinking we own it or that we have earned it or deserve it, but the truth is, everything that is ours is God’s first, and it is a gift from Him. We are merely the temporary caretakers of God’s kingdom on Earth.
