Video: Darlene Phillips is unstoppable
When Darlene Phillips first arrived at The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center in Minneapolis in 2014, she was at her lowest point in life. She’d spent years in prison, decades using crack cocaine, and a lifetime trying to change.
Darlene spent months at the Harbor Light Center, where she received addiction counseling, spiritual support, hot meals, clothing, and a safe place to sleep.
In the video below, Darlene describes her struggles and how The Salvation Army helped her.
