Free Pre-Boxed Food, Thursdays

Families and individuals can pick up a box of free food provided by USDA on Thursdays at the Social Services building, 202 Callon Street, Wausau, Wis., simply by driving by on the street in front of the building, saying how many people are in the household and collecting a box of food. There are no income requirements and no restrictions other than one box per family or proxy (person representing a family if someone cannot pick it up). This food is provided as a COVID-19 response to help community members during the pandemic.

  • 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Drive up
  • Front of 202 Callon Street Building 
  • One box per family or individual (pick-up proxies are allowed)

The boxes are anticipated to contain the following items, as supplies last (box contents may be modified to reflect available food quantities):
