Keeping the Heat On Image

Keeping the Heat On

Our HeatShare program ensures that everyone stays warm during the winter.

No one should have to choose between putting food on the table or paying to keep the heat on during the frigid winter months. Our HeatShare program can help.

What Is HeatShare?
HeatShare is a Salvation Army/Black Hills Energy partnership that provides emergency heating assistance for individuals and families in greater Nebraska (outside of Douglas County).

Assistance is available to those experiencing financial hardship. Funding is based on household income and can be used to help pay natural gas utility bills or to help repair or replace a gas furnace or water heater.

HeatShare is funded by the charitable giving arm of Black Hills Energy, its employees and their customers. To make a donation to the HeatShare program, please visit the Black Hills Cares website. Donations are tax-deductible.
