The Weekly Word - A Devotion for the Week of January 31
Do you ever find yourself trying to “win” in a conversation? We all do it from time to time; it’s human nature to want to be right and to want to convince others that we are right, too. Unfortunately, this kind of antagonistic dialogue doesn’t typically bring out the best in ourselves or others. This week let’s try a different approach as we interact with others – particularly those with whom we disagree. Let us be gracious and kind. Let us give others the benefit of the doubt, remembering that our mission is always love. Amen.
