The Weekly Word - A Devotion for the Week of May 23
It’s been an especially difficult week in the news. Our hearts break as we hear about more mass shootings, racially motivated violence and the ongoing suffering in Ukraine. As we feel our hope begin to waver in the face of the overwhelming sorrow that surrounds us, let us remember that we are not alone in our heartache. God is near to us. Let us turn toward Him in our darkness and receive his love and comfort.
