Service Extension Units

Find the help you need in your local community.

Service Extension Units are volunteer branches of The Salvation Army in communities throughout Nebraska, South Dakota and western Iowa where worship and service centers are not located. Their goal is to provide support to people during crisis situations and to identify other community resources that are available for additional help. These units provide temporary emergency assistance based on a budget local volunteers raise through community donations. Additional funds may also be raised through the Christmas bell-ringing campaign.
