March is FoodShare Month


Annually, we declare March as FoodShare Month in Sedgwick County. This Food Drive is your chance to help keep our citywide pantries stocked through the winter months and through the year, as well as help reduce our costs for the foods families want. Help us get the word out - #FoodShareICT !

This is a great opportunity for your organization, business or church to help us do the most good by collecting healthy non-perishable foods and canned goods.

NOTE : If you can't participate in March, NO PROBELM! Pick a month that fits your schedule and collect when it's convenient! Call us and schedule a pick up of a food share barrel or we can deliver a barrel or multiple barrels to accommodate your Food Drive. 

We have FoodShare drive barrels you can pick up at the Downtown Koch Center, 350 N Market, during business hours (8:30a-4:30p). Take one or as many as you need. Barrels will remain at your chosen locations throughout the month of March or the respective month you choose to host a food share month at your organization. Additionally, The Salvation Army is excited to also offer suggested menus for preparation of pantry foods that will make a family meal more healthy and enjoyable.
