Breaking the Cycle of Human Trafficking
21 million people (equal to the entire population of the state of Florida) are trafficked around the world every year. When people are exploited, they are treated as a thing to be used rather than as a person of worth. This is completely against our belief that all people are of equal value to God no matter who they are or what they have done. The Salvation Army remains deeply committed to fighting human trafficking locally and around the world.
Our challenge is to live out our belief that human life, no matter how fragile or vulnerable, has value to God. This belief should be lived out in our relationships, our families, our communities and our world.
