Focus on Mission: Sunday Worship
Nearly every Salvation Army Corps Community Center designates a specific space for weekly congregational worship services led by Salvation Army Officers, who are ordained ministers.
Responding to the spiritual needs of the local community, these services usually occur on Sunday morning. Sunday school is also offered for all age groups. Often, members of the congregation are active participants - offering personal testimonies and sharing musical gifts. Congregational hymn singing is accompanied by organ and piano, brass ensembles or the contemporary sound of guitars and drums.
The public is encouraged to attend these worship services and can contact the Salvation Army in their local community for times and locations.
