Summer is a great time to visit The Salvation Army Wonderland Camp and Conference Center in Camp Lake, Wisconsin.
Registration applications for our camps and summer employment are available online. ALL camp applications are due at Wonderland no later than 1 week prior to each session.
For the first time and one summer only, Wonderland Camp has decided to open its swimming facility to the public. We will be only taking online registrations.
Swim sessions will run Monday through Friday and have two 3-hour sessions a day. Those will be from 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm. The facility will be closed and cleaned in between the sessions and after the last for the day. Rates will be $4/per person ages 4 and up/per session. Ages 0-3 are free.
We will also have our concession stand open for you to purchase candy, ice cream, hot foods, beverages, etc. You can check out the concessions menu HERE. It is with a heavy heart that, The Salvation Army Central Territory Leadership, have decided to cancel all divisional camps for summer 2020. We have been doing our best to continue organizing and putting plans in place for the summer while hoping the situation would improve. However, bringing children, teens and adults from around the Metro Division isn't a smart option in the current pandemic.
It is a heart-breaking decision for our leadership to have to make; we have been excited about the plans for our activities, and the effort behind hiring each and every staff. This summer was going to be epic! Above all though, safety and well-being our campers, parents, volunteers and staff come first. It is only best to have our divisional camps if we feel we can confidently keep everyone safe.
We hope more than ever; Wonderland will be that home away from home for all our campers in 2021. We try and create an environment that is care-free, full of memories, friendships and is Christ-centered, away from the normal pressures and worries of normal life for our campers. While this summer is not possible for us, we pray for all of our families that are willing to wait another year for a summer of their life at Wonderland Camp.
· Wonderland Camp will still be open this summer.
· Our Divisional Events/Camps are cancelled.
We pray for good health, peace and happiness during these uncertain times.
