Responding to the Coronavirus: Keeping Our Communities Safe

The Salvation Army Wisconsin & Upper Michigan Division remains committed to Doing The Most Good for our neighbors in need, especially now as we respond to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. After taking into consideration all of the federal, state and local guidelines, our worship and community centers are making adjustments to their daily activities. See the list below for adjustments to programming. This page will be updated as changes are made.


Officers will be on site and buildings will be OPEN for emergency assistance such as food pantries.

All worship and community centers scheduled activities and worship services are SUSPENDED until April 30th. Updates will be provided after the 30th.

All thrift store operations have been SUSPENDED until April 30th.

All summer camps at Army Lake Camp have been CANCELED.

For your safety through social distancing, if you would like to help The Salvation Army of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan we are asking that you give in two ways: 

  • Mail a check to The Salvation Army, 11315 W. Watertown Plank Rd., Wauwatosa, WI 53226 and in the memo write "CV19 Help WUM"
  • Donate online
  • Text 'WUM' to 24365

Beloit

  • Food Pantry hours: Monday - Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Pantry orders will be pre-packed

Eau Claire

Green Bay

  • Senior Programming canceled until April 13th (tentative)
  • Basketball and Volleyball leagues are SUSPENDED
  • Gym no longer being rented or used for community events
  • Noon Lunch Program served to-go from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (until further notice)

Green Bay Kroc Center

  • Licensed childcare services are still open and will be operating for families currently enrolled
  • Building closed and activities SUSPENDED as of 3/17

Hancock

  • Vacation Bible School (March 23-27) canceled
  • Food Pantry open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Ishpeming

  • Beginning Wednesday, April 8th: The Salvation Army of La Crosse County will begin delivering packaged meals, food baskets, and blankets to members in the county affected by the COVID-19 virus.

Madison
