The Salvation Army to Host Community Thanksgiving Meal
All are invited to share in a traditional Thanksgiving dinner
MADISON, WI - This Wednesday marks the Community Thanksgiving Meal, open to the public and hosted by The Salvation Army of Dane County. While a Thanksgiving Day meal will be served at the Emergency Family and Single Women's Shelters as well, the Community Meal presents an opportunity for the Darbo-Worthington Neighborhood and all surrounding areas to join hands and give thanks together. The evening will consist of a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings, plenty of desserts, and entertainment by the Red Kettle Strummers, a local volunteer ukulele group. Come one, come all to join in on an annual tradition.
Community Thanksgiving Meal
When/Where: 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at The Salvation Army of Dane County Community Center-Gymnasium; 3030 Darbo Drive, Madison. (Lot and street parking available.)
Details: Community Thanksgiving Meal is free and open to the public! Partner organizations, neighbors, community members, and ALL are welcome to share the table and a delicious meal.
