The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County To Provide 8,954 Children Toys This Christmas
MILWAUKEE COUNTY - The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County is currently hosting its annual Toy Shop distribution.
- Toy Shop program aims to make the holiday season brighter for families facing financial hardship by allowing them to select new, donated toys for their children.
Volunteers will assist parents with selecting the perfect gifts during scheduled appointments at The Salvation Army Distribution Center, 5880 N. 60th St. in Milwaukee.
“Every parent deserves the chance to see their child’s face light up with joy on Christmas morning,” said Major Beverly Gates, Area Commander for The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County. “We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from local businesses and groups, and we look forward to making this holiday season special for families in need.”
Each parent will receive two toys per child, one book per child, one game per family, and one arts and crafts set per family. To date, 3,617 families and 8,954 children are registered.
Registration is closed for 2024.
