Members of our community can be affected by anything from a home fire to health issues, to the loss of transportation. Many families are not prepared for such a sudden emergency, and they find themselves suddenly without a place to live, a way to get to work, or the means to survive while recovering from an unexpected illness. They may live alone or may not have family close by to assist and they are having trouble getting back on their feet. It seems financially and emotionally impossible.
We often receive requests for assistance when the survivor has exhausted all other options. The emergency assistance program relies on 100% donations, and funds are limited. Applicants must make an appointment with our case manager. The other eligibility requirements include being a Kenosha County resident with a valid ID and proof of residency.
