Our Services & Programs:

Community Food Pantry

Our food pantry services are available to those living in the following counties: Cass, Christian, Logan, Mason, Menard, Moultrie, Schuyler, and Shelby

 

The food pantry can be utilized once per month by individuals outside of our case management programs and once per week by those in Pathway of Hope


Food pantry open access days:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Food Pantry appointment days:

  • Mondays & Wednesday

Required Materials:

  • Valid form of Identification (for every member of household)
  • Social Security Card (for every member of household)
    • Medical Cards accepted as substitute

Housing Support

The Salvation Army 360 Life Center of Lincoln offers assistance to those facing temporary or long term homelessness. Our services include emergency transitional housing and hotel vouchers; also, our Pathway of Hope program guides people towards stable housing.


Pathway of Hope:

This program serves at risk individuals or families living in Cass, Christian, Logan, Mason, Menard, Moultrie, Shcuyler, Shelby Counties. Those enrolled are guided through case management towards self sufficiency and stability.

Grant Per Diem Transitional Housing Program:

This program is a bridge towards transitional housing for veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Emergency Disaster Services

The Salvation Army 360 Life Center of Lincoln stands ready to respond to disasters and emergencies in Cass, Christian, Logan, Mason, Menard, Moultrie, Schuyler, & Shelby counties.


Examples of Services Provided:

  • Food Assistance
  • Emergency Funding Support
  • Hotel Vouchers / Shelter Assistance
  • Case Management & Pastoral Care

Volunteer Opportunities: 

Become part of our team that gives relief to survivors of local fires, floods, or tornadoes. Help serve first responders, pray with those who are hurting, and take courses to grow your skills or preparedness.

Emergency Financial Support

Those in need of assistance with utility, rent or mortgage payments can utilize The Salvation Army's services to receive financial support or be connected to other public resources.


Financial Services for Logan & Mason Counties:

  • Illinois American Water (H2O program)
  • Ameren Warm Neighbors program
  • Rental/Mortgage Assistance

Office Hours for Financial Support:

Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Required Materials:

  • Valid Photo ID
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of Income
  • Copy of Utility Bill or Lease
  • Other materials related to your crisis


Financial Services for Shelby & Christian Counties: 

  • Transportation
    • Bus vouchers and gas cards
  • Rental Assistance
    • Staff assistance with filling out applications for section 8 housing
  • Utility Assistance
    • Accessed through case workers

Throughout the year, The Salvation Army 360 Life Center of Lincoln offers seasonal services and programs to provide specialized support.


Christmas/Holiday Support:

  • Adopt a Family/Angel Tree Christmas Presents
    • (For children under age 15)
  • Holiday Food Vouchers

Easter Services:

  • Food Basket Distribution

Back To School Supply Drive:

  • Held every August

Summer Youth Camp:

  • 6 -7 free camp scholarships available every summer
    • For kids between the ages of 7 - 17

  • Developing a personalized service plan with goals and assessments to measure your progress.
  • Meeting weekly with a personal case manager to discuss your journey and learn how best to reach your own success.
  • Using our services and programs to help meet your greatest needs. (food pantry, shelter support, financial assistance, etc.)
  • Connecting with other public resources that can help ensure lasting success with your self sufficiency and stability.
