Doing The Most Good

360 Life Centers serve in the same capacity as other Salvation Army entities.
We work to meet the greatest needs of our communities.

Who We Are:

All 360 Life Centers of the North and Central Illinois Division are local units representing The Salvation Army, which is an international movement and an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.

Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

What is a 360 Life Center?

The Salvation Army has designed a new type of local service unit that meets a community's spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental needs - without discrimination, in the name of Jesus Christ. These local units have been titled 360 Life Centers due to this full scope of service and responsibility. They are led in a team-oriented fashion by local professional leadership (staff), local community partnership (board members and volunteers) and other supporting bodies. All of these members come together to execute the 360 Life Center's services and programs.

"In whatever situation or event, a person may find themselves in, the 360 Life Center will meet the human, spiritual and physical needs to provide a holistic ministry for people in their communities."

Every 360 Life Center has its own unique agenda and identity, all of which reflect the local community's needs. Requirements and procedures keep all 360 Life Centers operating on a standard format, but how these steps are carried out are what make each Life Center a product of the local needs. Services and programs are not generalized or mandated; rather, they are led by the voices of those they impact.
