The Salvation Army provides spiritual services to anyone God brings across our path.
The Salvation Army is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Our message is based on the Bible, our ministry is motivated by the love of God, and our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as we meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Every program we offer is rooted in our passion to serve God by serving the lost, the vulnerable, the needy, the poor, the hurting, the helpless and the hopeless.
"While Women weep, as they do now, I'll fight; while children go hungry, as they do now I'll fight; while men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, I'll fight; while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I'll fight, I'll fight to the very end!" William Booth, Salvation Army Founder.
God Worship. Jesus Discovery. Spiritual Growth.
We believe in the Almighty God, the Creator of all that exists, the Heavenly Father as described in the pages of the Holy Bible. We worship through:
We preach the Gospel in the hope that lost souls might come to a knowledge of the Saving Grace offered to all of humanity because of the loving sacrifice made by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of the true living God. We seek to discover the who, what, why, where, and when of Jesus. We do this by reading the story of his life, death, and resurrection as described in the Bible. We celebrate his whole life and look forward with excited anticipation of his return!
We practice and promote spiritual growth starting at the Rebirth of the Soul when a saint first experiences salvation. It does not end there though. We grow spiritually through the work of the Holy Spirit: A cooperative effort between our continued effort to obey and His supernatural effort to re-create us! It is amazing to see lives changed from a destiny of punishment and death to living examples of Jesus' love with the hope of eternal joy.
