Lansing Ignite donate diapers to The Salvation Army Lansing Capital Area

Lansing Ignite professional soccer team players Ricky Lopez-Espin (L) and Rhys Williams (R) Live United as they distribute diapers to The Salvation Army Lansing Citadel, Friday, June 21st 2019.  The diapers were collected as part of the Capital Area United Way Diaper Drive.  Receiving the diapers are Jon Curtis, Lansing Capital Area Volunteer Coordinator and Major Pat Irvine, Lansing Citadel Corps Officer. 

Lansing Ignite began helping the community with this project during the May 11 match against Greenville Triumph SC at Cooley Law School Stadium.  According to Teresa Kmetz, President of the Capital Area United Way, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Lansing Ignite FC and LAFCU on our diaper drive this year.”
