December 1, 2023: The Salvation Army of Traverse City is excited to announce that Red Kettle Matching Mondays are back. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, Red Kettle donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to a total of $40,000 during Matching Mondays - December 4, 11, and 18, 2023.
The Salvation Army has seen unprecedented increases in requests for assistance, while at the same time seeing the cost of replenishing the food pantry, and providing the Community Meal program continue to rise.
This incredible $40,000 matching challenge gift means that every penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and dollar bill put in a Traverse City Salvation Army Red Kettle during Matching Mondays is doubled - there is no minimum or maximum donation amount. It means double the impact to provide meaningful gifts: the gift of a warm meal, a toy, a safe warm home, and the priceless gift of hope for someone in our community who is struggling during this challenging time.
All Red Kettle donations stay in our community – when donors give locally, they are helping real people in their community.
How easy is it to help The Salvation Army meet the $40,000 matching challenge and double your donation during Matching Mondays.
