Join us for a Summer of Fun!

It is time to create wonderful new memories, meet new friends, gain new skills and confidence, and have an amazing experience with God in His creation! The Traverse City, Salvation Army is excited to provide area youth and their families an exciting, safe, and affordable Summer Day Camp opportunity.

The Salvation Army Day Camp is designed for boys & girls 5 (who will start 1st thru 6th grade in the fall) thru 11 years of age.  

Registration opens February 20th, 2024

DATES AND TIMES:
Session One: June 24 -July 19 (Closed July 4 for Independence Day)
Session Two, July 29-August 23
(DAY CAMP is closed the week of  of July 22-26, 2024)

Day Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am- 4:00 PM. Aftercare available Monday through Thursday 4:00-5:00 PM.

LOCATION:
Summer Day Camp is conveniently located at The Salvation Army Community Center, 1239 Barlow St. Traverse City.

COST: Summer Day Camp is $110 per week per child registered. Deposit of 50% of your total summer cost is required after registration is reviewed and accepted.

Parent/Guardians can choose which weeks they want their camper to attend. As registrations are approved those weeks will be filled.

*Partial financial assistance is available to qualifying families based on income and family size.

Day Camp will have 30 children in attendance on a given week.

Registration is now open! Our team will be reviewing every completed Day Camp registration and Summer Day Camp Inclusion form to determine if we can accommodate each camper safely. The director will contact you by email to let you know if your camper has been accepted or not.
