National Donut Day in Madison

National Donut Day in Madison Image

June 4th is National Donut Day - a holiday that celebrates The Salvation Army's Donut Lassies, who provided free coffee and donuts to soldiers on the front lines during WWI.

Celebrate these women while supporting small businesses and the programs of The Salvation Army of Dane County on June 4th!

The Salvation Army of Dane County will be handing out FREE DONUTS to the people of Madison near The Capitol.

Find us on the 10 block of N. Pinckney (near The Old Fashioned) from 11:30 AM to 1 PM on June 4th and celebrate this Salvation Army holiday with us!

Additionally, two local bakeries will be selling their delicious donuts and taking donations for The Salvation Army.

Bloom Bakeshop: 1851 Monroe St
- Open 8 AM to 3 PM

Greenbush Bakery - East: 5225 High Crossing Blvd
- Open 6 AM to 8 PM

The Original Greenbush Bakery: 1402 Regent St
- Open 6 AM to 8 PM

We hope you use this fun holiday as a way to enjoy donuts while giving back.
