Salvation Army Offers School Supplies, Resources, at Backyard Bash

The Salvation Army hosted an end of the summer celebration for families in the Darbo/Worthington Park neighborhood on August 13th from one to four. 

Local service providers attended to provide resources and information about their services. Some of the providers were:

  • Play and Learn 
  • Mentoring Positives
  • MGE
  • Second Harvest 
  • Care Net
  • First Care Clinic 

There was also free school supplies and lunch, a bouncy house, carnival games, snow cones, nail painting, face painting, and more to help get kids ready and excited for the next school year.
