Research shows that kids and teens who are influenced by role models they know personally show higher levels of self-esteem and stronger academic performance.
Our character-building programs connect kids and teens with adults who serve as encouraging leaders and positive role models. We also offer a safe, welcoming place for kids of all ages to congregate, meet new friends and socialize with their peers.
Club 3:16 and Teen Group
Kids and teens meet for a weekly dinner Wednesdays at 5 p.m., followed by Club 3:16 at 5:30 p.m. for our youth character building programs (Moonbeams, Sunbeams, Explorers, Rangers and Girl Guards). These programs offer children and teens in prekindergarten through 12th grade the opportunity to develop strong communication and leadership skills, grow their minds and explore God's Word, all while having fun and connecting with their peers in a safe environment.
Our Teen Group meets Wednesdays after Club 3:16 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Overnight Camps
The Salvation Army Western Plains Camp, located near South Sioux City, Nebraska, offers a number of overnight camp opportunities, including special music and sports camps, for kids and teens in first through 12th grades as well as a starter day camp for pre-elementary children.
