The Salvation Army has changed lives and given hope to countless people throughout the nation. But it never does it alone.

Volunteering

There are many different ways to get involved with The Salvation Army. We offer volunteers a chance to change people's lives across a wide range of activities and programs - all the while, being changed themselves.

All of our volunteer opportunities are coordinated locally, where our staff understands exactly how you can be of the most help to most people.

Volunteers are a great asset to our organization and we are always in need of them. Volunteers for the office/pantry and during our various events held throughout the year contribute to the success of our mission.

Those wishing to volunteer may contact the office at (906) 779-5717 and request a volunteer application.

Bell Ringing

Ring in hope, and show that together, as a community we are not powerless in the face of need!

Can you give two hours? Change in the kettle changes lives!!! Each November our annual Red Kettle Campaign kicks off! Bells ringers are needed to man the kettles outside of a variety of local stores, Walmart, Econo Foods, Super One Foods, and Ebelings.

Please contact the Dickinson County Kettle Coordinator by calling (906) 221-7054.
