Andy King and Advantax want to soften the hearts of people
Andy King is CEO at Advantax and the company website will tell you that his primary focus is ensuring a superior level of service to Advantax customers while guiding the company’s financial needs and developing a workforce of professionals that is second to none. It’s through that development that he smiles when asked about volunteering with the Salvation Army.
He firmly believes that by working in conjunction with the mission of The Salvation Army, it will allow Advantax to soften the hearts of people. He wants to get the word out that his team and along with the Army, people can discover more about the support that can be shared with his fellow man.
One of Andy and Advantax’s business goals is the idea of giving back to the community and especially the Elgin community and surrounding area. He is understandably proud of the company’s accomplishments such as garnering clients like Nordstrom, Toyota and Amazon. As a result of his ideals of efficiency and being productive, he understands how important it is to be connected to the community and give back. For example, he beams with pride when mentioning that his wife is active in the community and he is familiar with Salvation Army programs such as Pathway of Hope!
Amongst his ideas is developing a lunchtime chat at his offices or even a fieldtrip?! Since Andy is a CPA and an avid runner – he knows that efficiency and hitting the road to spread the word will go a long way in the community!
