The Salvation Army's holistic programs help alleviate the symptoms of poverty
and address the root issues that cause it.
To keep our clients, staff, and volunteers safe, and in accordance with city and state guidelines, most programs at The Salvation Army Elgin Corps Community Center are closed until further notice. Modified programs and services may still be available. Fresh Produce Pantry items are pre-boxed and not client choice. We are open on Saturdays from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM, but only small groups are allowed in the building at a time. We provide home goods items on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and Thursdays from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. We have adjusted to pre-bagged instead of the client-choice until further notice. For the most up-to-date information, please contact us at 847-741-2304.
