Transitions
From building an urban Indianapolis community center to planting a church in Ottawa, Illinois, Captains Brandon & Megan Lewis have been blessed by the diversity of the ministry Jesus has asked them to steward. They were married in Chicago in 2015 and soon added two more to their family, six-year-old Griffin and three-year-old Joanna.
After growing up in Omaha, Nebraska, Captain Brandon lived in Chicago, Wisconsin, throughout Illinois, across Indiana, South America, and has most recently served as Congregational Life Officer for the Quincy Area Command and Kroc Center. He enjoys spending his free time hiking, reading, writing, and serving as a search and rescue responder. Captain Brandon holds professional certificates in Inclusive Leadership from The Salvation Army International Headquarters and Kroc Center Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Captain Megan is also a well-traveled servant of Christ, from St. Louis to Virginia and many places in between. She describes home as wherever her family is, and she is excited to make Southern Indiana their home! She is an extroverted coffee lover who enjoys interior design and woodworking projects. Captain Megan holds a BA in Leadership and Ethics from Nazarene Bible College, as well as a professional certificate in Inclusive Leadership from The Salvation Army International Headquarters.
More than anything, the Lewis family lives to follow Jesus and love others in His name!
