The Salvation Army is known for its thrift stores and providing clothing, furniture, and household items to those in need. Unfortunately, at our Evansville location, we do not currently operate a thrift store and are unable to accept donations of used clothing, household items, or furniture. We recommend taking donations to the following agency partners who are doing great work alongside us here in Southern Indiana!

  • Evansville Rescue Mission “Thrift Store”– Clothing, Furniture, and Household Donations
  • Habitat for Humanities “Restore” – Furniture and Household Donations
  • Saint Vincent DePaul Thrift Store - Clothing, Furniture, and Household Donations

We are able to accept the following items to assist us in our current programming:

  • Car Seats (new) – Pathway of Hope and Emergency Financial Assistance Families
  • Hygiene Products (new) – General requests from families in our food insecurity programming
  • Non-Perishable Food Products – Food items for our Food Pantry (Monthly grocery assistance) and Sally’s Kitchen (Daily Meals)
