War on Hunger - #PartnersForGood
It takes an "Army" behind The Salvation Army to provide for those in need. An army of volunteers, donors, and community partners in order to provide the over 127,000 meals served last year through Salvation Army Food Programs in Southern Indiana. Thanks to our generous community partners and donors we are able to produce each meal at only ~$1.50/per meal, and offer these meals at NO CHARGE to those in need. Your donation of $15, $150, or even $1,500 could provide for 10, 100, or even 1,000 meals!!!
As part of our War on Hunger campaign, we need your support to help us secure resources to feed the hungry year-round. The summer months are a difficult time when resources grow thin under increased demand. We rely on our War on Hunger event to raise the funds and donated food items to see us through the ups and downs.
Last year we were forced to limit the amounts and resources for families seeking help in order to keep the food programs open.
Help us prevent this same situation and join us in our War on Hunger by becoming a
#PartnerForGood
