The Allen County Salvation Army reaches Christmas goal
THE SALVATION ARMY RED KETTLE CAMPAIGN A SUCCESS!
Thanks to the support of Allen County residents, The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign raised $292,788 for 2022. The matching support towards the end of the campaign from Hanning and Bean Enterprises Inc., Ambassador Enterprises, Brotherhood Mutual, and Sweetwater Sound was enough to meet the goal. These funds will be used throughout 2023 to serve those less fortunate in our community.
The Christmas assistance program ended in a success this year. Through the various programs, such as Angel Tree, Adopt A Family, and Card A Teen, The Salvation Army was able to serve 3,760 individuals this season. The Angel Tree program was saved at the end of the campaign by a $10,000 contribution from FAK Logistics Inc.
“We are grateful to all who have donated their time, talents, and treasures to The Salvation Army” stated Kenyon Sivels, Corps Officer at The Allen County Salvation Army. “The continuing support ensures we will be able to continue serving our community throughout the next year.”
