A Lifetime of Doing The Most Good
The service & support The Salvation Army receives locally is a blessing that we will never forget to be thankful for, but there are special moments within these blessings that stand alone as a special testament to how truly dedicated those who believe in our mission actually are. You can find these remarkable moments of support through our volunteers, donors, or advisory board members. All of which are areas that we have seen outstanding individuals become pillars of their community’s growth and change. Bob Sanchez is one such individual who was recognized as a Lifetime Member for the Burlington Salvation Army Advisory Board.
Just how high of honor is this award? One has to have 15 years, or more, of service just to even be considered; additionally, fellow board members have to recommend an individual for approval by Central Territory’s Commander. The status of lifetime member forever replaces one’s regular member designation and is reserved for no more than one of every eight board members.
Such an extraordinary achievement is an inspiration and gift to our Burlington communities because Bob’s work is indicative of all of our progress here at The Salvation Army. Every family touched, child saved, hunger met or lost soul guided to His light – it is all thanks to the support we receive which continues to grow under leaders of our mission like Bob Sanchez. In his tenure alongside The Salvation Army Bob has achieved a prodigious amount and for this we proudly congratulate him on becoming the newest Lifetime Member of The Salvation Army: Burlington & Des Moines County.
