Importance of Bell Ringing & Safety

Sep 30, 2020

The Salvation Army's Red Kettles are facing a lot of challenges this year:

  • Reduced foot traffic at stores
  • Health concerns with physical monies
  • & Even a lower number of physical Kettles than ever before

Volunteer Bell Ringers are even more valued this year with all of these obstacles impacting our Holiday Fundraising efforts that support the Programs & Services we provide throughout Christmas, and all year-long. If you wish to volunteer your time and serve our mission first-hand, you can still do that by becoming a Bell Ringer and knowing that The Salvation Army is providing guidelines & protocols to ensure the safety of everyone who visits our Red Kettles. The precautions in place will include CDC compliant sanitation and protective practices as well as PPE supplies for all of our Bell Ringers!
