Tree Of Lights Celebration
The 2018 Tree Of Lights campaign in Peoria brought The Salvation Army to a new milestone by breaking the campaign goal and raising over $1.7 million in donations. These funds will be applied to services that continue to bring the most good to those in need within the Peoria area. Addressing the cases of homelessness, food security and supporting programs such as Pathway of Hope are just a few of the life changing works that will thrive thanks to the help from those around us. What a blessing it was to present this total to a few of our long time partners as well as recognizing their individual service for their community at our victory celebration night. Without them, campaigns like the Tree Of Lights would never see success like this and all of us at The Salvation Army thank everyone who helped.
The generosity that this campaign showed from the Peoria area does not end there though. We see this type of support all across our division and wanted to take this celebration as a chance to recognize how greatly impactful strong community support can be. Thank you for all the help you've given, and continue to give, to your local Salvation Army. We hope to continue to exceed our goals on every level of our service with the support and love of God and our communities.
