The Salvation Army of Vincennes Needs Your Help
The Salvation Army of Vincennes needs your help!
Over the last two months, the number of Knox County residents coming to the food pantry at The Salvation Army of Vincennes has almost doubled. In the month of September, the food pantry served 545 people, and by the last week in October the numbers for the month were up to 843 people served. Captains Joey and Pamela are honored to serve their community in this way, but they are quickly running out of food!
The financial needs of people across the U.S. continue to grow each day, and your neighbors are no exception. The Knox County community needs your help to stock the food pantry shelves at The Salvation Army. Help in a tangible way by bringing your shelf-stable and refrigerated food donations to 2300 N 2nd Street, Vincennes, IN 47591. Anything you can give will help those in need.
Some specific donation needs include:
- Canned fruits
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned meat
- Soup
- Cereal
- Water
- Canned Beans
You can also help keep the food pantry open by donating directly to The Vincennes Corps
With your generous donations, The Salvation Army of Vincennes can continue to meet human needs in Jesus’ name without discrimination. Will you help bring hope to families in need in your community this Holiday season?
