Tap to Give

A cashless option for giving at our Red Kettles

What is Tap to Give?

This is a new touchless giving option that is now available at select Salvation Army Red Kettles across Indiana. Tap to Give devices are attached to Red Kettle stands where shoppers have traditionally been able to drop cash into kettles as they enter and leave stores. With these new devices, anyone with a digital wallet on their smart phone/watch or a contactless credit card can simply tap one of three devices to quickly give either $5, $10, or $20 to support local Salvation Army programs.

It's that easy!

Who can use Tap to Give?

If you have Apple Pay or Google Pay set up on your smart phone or watch, then using Tap to Give is simple. Just tap your device and then approve the transaction. No typing necessary!

Many credit cards are now set up to be contactless, which means that you can pay at a register with just a tap instead of swiping the entire card. These contactless cards have a symbol that looks similar to a WiFi symbol on its side:
