Frequently Asked Questions

We hope to assist with your angel tree needs through our list of frequently asked questions.

What is the Virtual Angel Tree?

The Virtual Angel Tree is a new and easy way to spread joy and cheer to the less fortunate this holiday season. You can view and select Angel tags online, shop from home, and even ship gifts directly to The Salvation Army center close to you. Anyone can be part of the new Virtual Angel Tree Program - just to go The Salvation Army closest to you or call 773-205-3516 or email uscmet.holidaydonate@usc.salvationarmy.org

Businesses, groups, or organizations are invited to be part of this innovative new program by hosting their own virtual Angel Tree page. Company sites are fully customizable. The Salvation Army will work with you to design your site and help publicize your participation. When you are ready to schedule a pick-up, please call 773-205-3516 or email uscmet.holidaydonate@usc.salvationarmy.org.

Can I adopt more than one Angel?

Yes. To adopt more than one Angel, simply repeat the online selection process. You will receive a separate email for each Angel you adopt.

Businesses, groups or organizations who want to adopt larger groups of Angels may contact their local Salvation Army chapter to inquire about group adoption opportunities.

Can I adopt a family of Angels?

How can I do so?

Do the items have to be new or can I give used items that are in good condition?

All items that you provide to your Angel must be new items.
