Fires and Tornadoes during May and June

May and June were both busy months. Our Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) team was called out for one 2/11 alarm fire in Palatine and a Tornado that hit Coal City and Braidwood again.

EDS was requested by a number of different agencies (Law & Fire) to support them with their special duties. We were also asked to part take in the Midway Airport Disaster Exercise which took place June 6.

EDS also had a number of requests to assist a number of Salvation Army Corps with hydration and preparing meals to serve at these Special Duties.
