Flash Flood Deployment - July 12, 2017
In coordination with the Lake County Illinois Emergency Management Agency, The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division’s Emergency Disaster Services has deployed two teams in Rapid Response Units to the Lake County Area.
The Response Teams will be in the following communities Round Lake, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Lake Zurick, and Libertyville. The teams will be assessing these affected areas while distributing hydration, snacks, and Flood Clear-Up Kits. The Crystal Lake Mobile Feeding Unit (Canteen) has been placed on standby in case there is a need for additional support.
