Oakbrook - Fight For $15 Demonstration March

Jun 16, 2017

On Wednesday, May 24, 2017 Oakbrook P.D. Deputy Cates requested the Salvation Army EDS Metro Division canteen service to support the first responders for the third year in a row during the protest march. EDS supplied two canteens and two rapid response vehicles for the two locations where the first responders would be stationed, from 4am to 11:00am.  Salvation Army EDS volunteers Richard & Rosa M. De Leon, David Byrne, Donna Ceglarek, and Ron Anderson manned the two canteens at the two locations and provided support for over 200 first responders serving them coffee, water, Gatorade along with a hot breakfast.
