Salvation Army EDS Continues Their Efforts Serving At The Round Lake Beach MARC

Saturday, July 22 The Salvation Army EDS continues to serve at the Round Lake Beach MARC providing relief for the families who have been affected by the widespread flooding in the Lake County area. This is the third day for the MARC (Multi-Agency-Recourse-Center) to be open for families to come and receive relief, to date there has been upwards to 600 families served.

EDS Volunteers Mary Minton, Matt Bruce, Cat Morita and Staff providing food service and unloading and distributing various needed products for the families.

Besides serving at the MARC The Salvation Army EDS was called out on Friday, July 21 for canteen support. EDS Volunteer Joey Logan from The Crystal Lake Team was deployed in CM112 to Algonquin area by the Fox River to feed and hydrate the people who came out to fill sandbags for the flooding that is occurring in that area.
