Update Lake County Flooding - July 20, 2017
The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Service is currently involved with the MARC (Multi - Agency - Resource - Center) at 965 E. Rollins Rd. Round Lake Beach, IL.. The MARC is expecting upwards to 400 families today. EDS is working with several different agencies to serve and provide relief of various kinds (from clean-up kits/brooms/shovels/paper towels/gloves/sponges/water/bleach/sundries/coolers/rakes/and food boxes).
Salvation Army EDS was asked to provide a hot lunch for all the families that would be coming to receive relief. CM117 our mobile feeding kitchen was deployed to the MARC location. EDS Volunteer Donna Ceglarek and EDS Staff member Michele Kushner preparing and served a hot lunch for hundreds of families.
